A motorcyclist from Zephyrhills died of injuries from a collision Monday in Pasco County that occurred when a car turned into his path, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Christopher M. Brazas, 26, was driving his 2007 Kawasaki Ninja east on County Road 54 about 4 p.m. Monday when a 2003 Mercury driven by John O'Shea, 77, of Zephyrhills, turned on to 54 from the northbound lane of Gateway Drive, troopers said. Brazas hit the driver's side of the Mercury.
Brazas was pronounced dead at Florida Hospital Zephyrhills. O'Shea was seriously injured, according to the highway patrol.
