Deputies: Gibsonton Man Throws Solvent On Wife, Jailed

TAMPA - A Gibsonton man threw paint thinner at his wife's face Monday afternoon, and it got in her eyes, deputies say.
"This was done intentionally and could cause permanent disability or blindness to the victim's eyes," an arrest affidavit states.
Hillsborough County deputies arrested James Lewis MacDonald at 5:09 p.m. Monday. He was charged with aggravated battery.
MacDonald, 63, of 10640 East Bay Road, remains in Orient Road Jail today. Bail has not been set.
