Missing Tampa Man With Alzheimer's Found Dead In Pool

TAMPA - Relatives who reported a 63-year-old man missing about 10 p.m. Tuesday found him at the bottom of their pool, police said.
When paramedics arrived at 6605 S. Kissimmee St., they performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation on Donald Powers, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Family members last saw Powers in his bedroom and dressed in his pajamas about 9:45 p.m., police said. When relatives noticed he was missing, they saw an open door leading to the pool in the backyard.
Powers had Alzheimer's, relatives told police.
