BARTOW - An Auburndale man arrested in March on child pornography charges was arrested again today for violating his pretrial conditions after deputies found 50 pornographic magazines, 47 children's panties and 17 training bras in his house, the Polk County Sheriff's Office said.

Joseph B. Allen, 38, of 680 County Road 559, Auburndale, was charged with 40 counts of possession of child pornography and one count of promotion of child pornography after a March 20 undercover operation by the sheriff's office.

Investigators found more than 80,000 images of child pornography and 500 movies from Allen's house, the sheriff's office said. "Operation Defender" rounded up 20 other men on child pornography charges.

In March, Sheriff Grady Judd described the condition of Allen's home as "deplorable." A container was placed under the computer desk so that Allen did not have to get up to relieve himself, sheriff's spokeswoman Donna Wood said.

Allen was released June 7 from Polk County Jail after posting $100,000 bail. Searches of his home was one pretrial condition, Wood said, but details of the other conditions were not immediately available.
