ROCK ON AT DAYTONA
In case you didn't know this, actor Kevin Costner has a rock band.
That's relevant because the band, Modern West, will perform a one-hour concert in Daytona's infield fan zone before the Coke Zero 400 on July 5.
Costner has a new movie coming out - "Swing Vote" - in which he plays a small-town nobody who ends up with the deciding vote in the presidential election.
TICKETS APLENTY
NASCAR tracks are getting hit by hard by fuel prices and other financial hardships, and Daytona is no exception.
Ticket sales for the Coke Zero 400 are "soft," spokesman Andrew Booth said, and the track is offering a variety of special packages, including an all-you-can-eat buffet on the back stretch, vouchers for beer or soda or a subscription to "AutoWeek."
