Lakeland Police Investigate Shooting; 3 People Treated

TAMPA - Lakeland police are investigating a shooting this morning near the 1100 block of Neville Avenue and the 1100 block of Roselle Avenue.

Three people with non-life-threatening injuries were taken to Lakeland Regional Medical Center.

The shooting involved two groups in vehicles, and about 25 spent were found at the scene, police say. A residence and vehicle on Neville Avenue were damaged.

Detectives are interviewing people at the hospital, according to the Lakeland Police Department.

"This incident does not appear to be gang-related," a news release states.
