Spring Hill Teen's Death Not Considered Suspicious

A 15-year-old boy died at home this morning, soon after he was found not breathing by his father.
Steven Alfano began cardiopulmonary resuscitation on his son, Vincent, even as first responders rushed to 11718 Linden Drive in Spring Hill.
Spring Hill Fire Rescue personnel declared the teenager dead upon arrival, according to the Hernando County Sheriff's Office.
The exact cause of death is unknown and will be determined by the medical examiner. There was no obvious sign of trauma or foul play, so detectives do not consider it a suspicious death.
Vincent was a student at Challenger K8 School of Science and Mathematics in Spring Hill.
