A Guide To Our Changes

Beginning today, some of your favorite Tampa Tribune features move to new homes in the daily newspaper.

First up, our daily color comics page gets its own section front. Both pages of comics will appear at the front of the Classified section. Moving along with the comics are Dear Abby, the astrology column, the crossword puzzle, Sudoku, and other puzzles and games.

We're also reorganizing our features sections to focus on the content that you have told us is most important: food, home, things to do, and health and fitness. BayLife will now appear as tabloid sections, Wednesday through Saturday, focused on those topics. We're moving to the magazine-style format based on the tremendous success of 4you, our health and fitness section. Readers have told us how much they like the style of 4you, and we think the Flavor and At Home sections will be hits with you in this format as well.

The Sunday features section also gets a makeover. The revised section, called Getaway, will combine the best of Sunday BayLife and the Travel section.

BayLife will not appear in the Monday or Tuesday editions.

The movie listings will continue to appear in Friday Extra, in Sunday's Getaway section, and in our community news sections on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The television listings will appear only in the Sunday paper in the Select TV guide.

You can still read Walt Belcher's take on television Tuesday through Friday on Page 2 of the Nation/World section.

One final change takes effect with today's edition. Our Business news for Monday's paper only appears inside the Nation/World section. The regular Business section, complete with stock listings, will continue to run Tuesday through Saturday. The Sunday Business section also will remain unchanged.
