TAMPA – VH1 has decided to give Hulk Hogan's daughter, Brooke, her own series.
The network announced Tuesday that it has ordered 10 episodes of "Brooke Hogan Knows Best," a spinoff of the network's popular "Hogan Knows Best."
No debut date was announced. The new series will follow Brooke, who turns 20 in May, as she strikes out on her own in Miami.
Born in Tampa, Brooke Hogan came to national fame through "Hogan Knows Best," which ran for three seasons on VH1. The reality show followed the real lives of the Hogan family. Much of the attention focused on Brooke as she attempted to launch a singing career with her father's help.
"Hogan Knows Best" was not renewed after Hogan's wife, Linda, filed for divorce in November.
Their son, Nick (also featured on "Hogan Knows Best") was indicted in November on charges related to a car accident in August in which a passenger, John Graziano, was seriously injured.
Hulk Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, earned his fame as a pro wrestler. The long-time Tampa pop culture icon has found new work as host of NBC's "American Gladiators," which returns in May for a summer run.
