HSN Analyst Arrested On Sex Abuse Charge

A financial analyst with the St. Petersburg-based Home Shopping Network was arrested last night on a felony charge of sexual battery on a victim under 12 years old, arrest records show.

David Alexander Wey, 31, of Tampa, is being held without bond at the Orient Road Jail, records show. He was arrested on a warrant by Hillsborough County sheriff deputies at 11:46 p.m., a criminal report affidavit shows.

Wey is represented by Tampa attorney Octavio Gomez, of the law firm Taracks Wetter & Associates, records show. A phone message left for Gomez this morning was not immediately returned.
