Female Bank Robber Strikes Again

Tampa police released surveillance video of a woman they believe robbed three banks, one in Tampa and two in Temple Terrace.

TAMPA - A woman wanted for two bank robberies in Temple Terrace struck again today, this time at a Bank Atlantic on Fowler Avenue, Tampa police said.

The suspect is seen in a surveillance video entering the Bank Atlantic about noon today and handing a note to a teller demanding money. The woman took an unknown amount of cash and left the bank through the rear entrance. No one was injured in the incident.

The suspect is a black female in her mid to late 20s, about 5 feet 5 inches tall with a thin build, short hair and about 120 pounds, police said. She was last seen wearing sunglasses, a dark baseball cap, black tank top and blue jeans.
