Spring training on the waterfront is coming to an end.

ST. PETERSBURG - The final out will be recorded at Al Lang Field today, ending 83 years of spring baseball on the waterfront. The Rays, who are moving their spring base to Port Charlotte in 2009, are playing the Cincinnati Reds in their final home Grapefruit League game at 1:05 p.m.
There will be more than baseball at the old ballpark, with commemorative posters to the first 6,500 fans, a MacDill Air Force flyover, a presentation of the all-time Al Lang Team, and a free postgame barbeque.
