A 20-year-old Clearwater man was arrested Wednesday night after he sped away from a traffic stop and crashed into three cars, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.

Deron Coleman
Deputies say they tried to stop Deron Coleman of 2817 Candlewood St., Clearwater, as he was driving a 2008 Chrysler 300 west on State Road 580 in Oldsmar about 6:45 p.m., but he sped away.
Moments later, Coleman clipped a 2006 Mazda driven by 25-year-old Casey Zakany of Tampa as he tried to pass her, deputies said.
Deputies say they then chased Coleman through
Safety Harbor. Coleman struck a Honda Accord as he ran a stop sign at County Road 611, deputies said. The Honda, driven by 44-year old Ana Swallow of Missoula, Mont., hit an Infiniti driven by 36-year old Paul Zimorski of Palm Harbor. Both were northbound on 611.
Swallow was transported by ambulance to Mease Countryside Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said. The other drivers were not injured.
Coleman, who was arrested at the crash site at C.R. 611 and S.R 580, faces charges including driving with a suspended license, fleeing and eluding, resisting arrest without violence, possession of marijuana and leaving the scene of a crash with bodily injury and property damage.
He was being held at Pinellas County Jail. Bail was set at $31,750.
