Sarasota Man Accused In Fatal Shooting Of Sister

SARASOTA - A 47-year-old man was arrested tonight, accused of fatally shooting his sister, the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office said.

Paul A. Brinskelle, of Sarasota, was charged with murder and aggravated assault.

Brinskelle and his sister, Jo Ann Brinskelle, 50, were having an argument at their home at 4634 Country Manor Drive when Jo Ann Brinskelle was fatally shot by a handgun, deputies said.

The investigation is ongoing.

Paul Brinskelle's booking information was not immediately available.
