Riverview Man Charged With 100 Counts Of Child Porn

TAMPA -- A Riverview man possessed about 100 files of child pornography depicting children as young as 18 months, Hillsborough County deputies say.
Deputies arrested Christopher Alan Freeman, 24, at 11:15 a.m. today.
Freeman, who previously has been convicted of sexual assault on a child, was charged today with 100 counts of possession of child pornography.
He remained in Orient Road Jail today. His bail was set at $200,000.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office Special Investigation Division executed a court authorized search warrant at Freeman's home, 6339 Osprey Lake Circle, seeking evidence of child pornography.
Several computers were seized, and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement was able to find the files, a sheriff's office release states.
Freeman admitted to downloading images and videos of child pornography, using a file sharing program, according to the release.
Martin County deputies initiated the investigation.
In 1997, Freeman was convicted of sexual assault on a child in Texas, state records show. He was 13 at the time.
