Hillsborough County deputies performed a traffic stop on a Tampa bartender instructor early todayafter he improperly backed his Cadillac into a four-lane street, according to an arrest report.
Deputies stopped Larry F. Anderson Jr., 23, at Nebraska Avenue and 127th Street after seeing the car improperly backing, the report said. Deputies smelled alcohol on his breath and noticed his eyes were bloodshot.
Anderson teaches at the ABC Bartending School in Tampa, according to a jail report.
He submitted to a breath test and the results showed he had a blood-alcohol level of 0.15 percent, the report said. Florida law presumes a driver is impaired at a level of 0.08 or higher.
Deputies charged Anderson with DUI and driving with a suspended license. He was also arrested for two drug-related probation violations and remains in Orient Road Jail with no bail set.
