At 11 p.m., detectives served a search warrant at 2912 W. Tampa Bay Blvd. and found two rooms being used to grow marijuana, the reports state. There were 70 live plants and equipment similar to what was being used at the Donald Avenue location. A small amount of dried marijuana was found in a bedroom.
Detectives said James F. Monge, 33, had keys to both homes and that the electric utilities were in his name. He was charged with seven drug-related charges, including trafficking and possession of marijuana with intent to sell. He was taken to Orient Road Jail. No bail was set, and he was still there this morning.
