POLK CITY – A raid on a marijuana-growing operation Tuesday by a Polk County drug task force led to the arrest of one man.
Reinaldo Martin, 34, is charged with trafficking in cannabis, possession of cannabis with intent to sell, maintaining a dwelling for drug use, cultivation of cannabis and possession of paraphernalia.

Acting on tips from neighbors, officers in the task force searched a house at 6129 Fussell Road, according to a news release from the Polk County Sheriff's Office. Officers said five rooms were being used to grow marijuana.
Officers seized 40 mature marijuana plants, 103 seedlings, 13 pounds of processed cannabis, a shotgun, an all-terrain vehicle and other equipment, according to the news release.
The Polk County High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area task force includes detectives with the sheriff's office, officers from the Winter Haven, Haines City, Lake Wales and Lakeland police departments, and agents from the Drug Enforcement Agency and Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
