CLEARWATER - For the fourth time in as many months, the Internet-based group Anonymous will stage a protest against the Church of Scientology in downtown Clearwater.
The street protest is set for Saturday, the day after the anniversary of the book "Dianetics" by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard, Anonymous says in an e-mail.
Previous demonstrations have drawn 100 to 200 protesters, who march through downtown Clearwater carrying signs and wearing masks, wigs and other disguises.
No major incidents or arrests have occurred at any of the protests, police said.
A church spokeswoman has labeled the protests acts of religious bigotry.
