Plant City Man Winner Of $800,000 Jackpot

TAMPA – A Plant City man claimed last Friday's $800,000 Mega Money jackpot, lottery officials announced today.
David Wells, 50, chose the one-time, lump-sum payment option for his winnings in the amount of $551,933.60.
Wells purchased his winning Quick Pick ticket from Cork Food Store, 3216 Cork Road, in Plant City.
The winning numbers were 03-09-10-36 and the Megaball was 17.
Wells is the second Mega Money winner to purchase a winning ticket in Plant City.
The previous winner was Curtis Lawson, who won Jan. 18, 2005. He was one of two winners and claimed $318,100.22.
The next drawing is on Friday with a jackpot of $800,000.
