After a two-week search for a man detectives think shot his neighbor in Wesley Chapel, Pasco County deputies have made an arrest.
About 9 p.m. Wednesday, Pasco SWAT members surrounded a residence at 38540 Burger Lane and arrested Edward Keith Stoddard Jr. without incident, sheriff's spokesman Doug Tobin said.
Stoddard, 28, of 6616 Mangrove Drive, is charged with first-degree murder in the April 23 death of a neighbor, Douglas F. Abrams, of 6255 Mangrove Drive.
The shooting happened at 6641 Mangrove Drive. The homes are in the Angus Valley community off Old Pasco Road, just north of County Road 54 (Wesley Chapel Boulevard). The street includes a mix of single- and double-wide homes.
Stoddard is expected to make a first court appearance at 1 p.m. today, Tobin said.

"The street includes a mix of single- and double-wide homes."
I expect this type of thing from single wide parks but it's rare in the upscale double wide community.

"The street includes a mix of single- and double-wide homes."
Now why did TBO have to go there? What purpose did that info serve, really?
Thought we were to "respect others"?

TBO must not need to respect others. Or maybe the writer was jealous of the trailers and wished theirs was as nice

SO what if they live in mobile homes, that is not a defect. Hugh get off your high horse because people live in mobile homes dosen't make them bad people. If thats what they have its what they have it is not something you should judge people with because they live in them. Your an A$$ for that statement and shows you stupidity. Oh, it was just a joke on your part. Ha Ha JERK

Angus Valley??
Usually a valley is found between two hills. I didn't know there were hills in Pasco Co. Maybe the community is found between mountains of garbage and old tires.

How funny you ignorant people stereo type. How old are you people making these comments? i myself live in a double wide by angus valley and make well over 6 figures a year. i am single with custody of my son. him and i travel all over florida racing motocross (he has three different bikes he races), we go fishing on our 22ft. bay boat, we go jet skiing on our jet ski's, we go four wheeling on our four wheelers and we even do alot of scuba diving. But since i live in a double wide, raising my child by myself, actually being a part of my sons life makes me a symbol of "low status" doesn't it Kenny T?

Mobile homes are homes...that is that. Does it matter if the home is built of wood, block or metal? Does it matter if there are or were tires under it? Hey people, there is some "real trash" living in "upscale" housing areas, I know of some personally. I wouldn't be seen in their home, I have values. I live in a block home, but, I have also lived in a mobile home, I did just as well in the mobile home as I did the block home. Life is no diifferent. If I ever sell my home I intend to buy a mobile home...less upkeep...it may be on wheels but I won't take it with me when I leave planet earth. Please, TBO and those who make the comments, it is not necessary to rate where people live, some of us can only afford so much and those that can afford more can still be rated as "human garbage" sometimes, I know some!!!

Obviously the writer felt that the line "a mix of single and double-wide homes" was important to the story. Just look at the suspect, that's certainly not a double-wide five o'clock shadow on Junior's face. He has the same look as "Junior", the comedian with the overalls on Hee-Haw." I betcha the Mrs. looks a lot like Lulu too!

The statement, "The street includes a mix of single- and double-wide homes.", was placed in the story because the writer was begging for user comments....Anything to get a rise out of people. Maybe the writers at tbo.com have a competition as to who can get the most response from their articles. Loser has to buy lunch for the entire staff next week........

sad thing is that someone was killed for possibly having been involved in stealing some stuff. It's true the area is not the most exclusive, however, this crime is just a small part of a larger statement about our current society. I remember last year over on the east cost several people were killed by another guy just recently out of jail over a gaming system & some other trivial stuff. Look @ what happened in St. Pete yesterday @ the court house.

We are still not going to forget what Eddie did to Dougie - we are going to follow the case and make sure he knows Dougie's friends are watching. Murder in the first degree is what he should be convicted of!!! Shame he probably won't lose his life like Dougie did and our taxes are gonna support him.
