Wife Charged In Pinellas Man's Slaying

Linda Weeks
Almost a year after a man was found stabbed to death in Pinellas County, his estranged wife was charged today with second-degree murder.
The body of Martin Weeks, 61, was found June 13 outside of his home in the Silk Oak Mobile Home Park in an unincorporated area of Clearwater.
Linda Weeks, 60, of Palm Harbor, was arrested at her house about 3 p.m. today at 1616 Indiana Avenue in Palm Harbor.
Pinellas County sheriff's detectives said Linda Weeks stabbed her estranged husband 28 times after she discovered he had had an affair with a 30-year-old woman.
At the time of her arrest, Linda Weeks denied any involvement in her estranged husband's death.

Wow, it took that long to charge her? Infidelity is completely uncalled for, and I feel bad for the wife, but she didn't need to kill him. Sounds like she snapped. I get it when POS spouses beat their spouses and demean them and snap, but infidelity, try a divorce lawyer....

"Estranged" means the woman and her husband were separated but not divorced, and therefore still legally married.

Remember guys "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned." Of course Loreena Bobbitt had her own kind of justice (much funnier but just as potentially deadly). It's a different culture, you don't talk out your problems you pick up a weapon and take care of it yourself. There is something to be said for vigilantism but if you believe that what goes around comes around is truth then she's getting her pay back now.
