HUDSON - Pasco County Sheriff's Office detectives are investigating a home-invasion robbery this morning during which masked men held guns to the heads of 6-month-old and 2-year-old children.
Three men broke a window to get into the home at 15509 Turtle Lane sometime before 9 a.m. and found several women and children inside, said sheriff's spokesman Kevin Doll. At some point the baby and toddler were grabbed while the intruders demanded money.
Guns were fired in the home to scare the residents, hitting at least one television, Doll said. Nobody was shot but one woman was injured.
"One of the women was battered," Doll said. I just don't know how bad."
The men fled with at least cash, the spokesman said.
When the men fled, someone at the home was able to get the tag number of their vehicle.
A man at the house hopped on a motorcycle and a followed the robbers but was stopped for speeding by a deputy who radioed for backup.
Hours later, two men were arrested and are in the process of being booked into the Land O' Lakes jail. A third man is still at large, Doll said.

Joedaddy,
I am surprised the Pasco County Sheriff's Deputy did'nt taser the home owner, knock him in the head a few times and arrest him. But, maybe it was a city cop.

JoeDaddy good thing he was stopped by deputy - deputy was able to get backup to catch the guys instead of the homeowner ending up like the poor guy that tried to help in Tampa when he jumped on his bike and was hit while following the suspects.

This doesn't say how long it took for the deputy to actually comprehend the guys' story and not keep telling him yeah right buddy, don't move.Hours later they were caught. What good was backup? Now the guy probably had 2 cops giving him a hard time before they had to rip up the ticket because dispatch confirmed the story after the girls called 911.

Something is very strange here....I want to know what these guys were looking for? It took me a bit of time to find this property on the property appraiser's web site because the physical address is 9925 BOLTON AVE and there are four other addresses ( 15509, 15607, 15619 & 15639 TURTLE LN ) that appear they may be named by the owner. Not to mention the owner /or relative is a convicted sex offender; giving a little insight to the possible family ethics. It is a dirt path through the 4.23 acre property which is listed as agricultural with a few mobile homes on the lot. Why would these thugs do a "push in" robbery believing there is anything of value there?
My guess is that something unlawful is going on at this location for these three idiots to target such a location.
Let's see what happens next there.....

GF I was very bored last night. But, my point was it sounds like a perp on perp crime to me. So that would still leave those little kids in a possibly bad situation. I would take a closer look at the so called "victims" if I were the investigating officer.
