TAMPA -- No injuries were reported tonight in a two-alarm fire that damaged a West Chase electronics store, Hillsborough County Fire Rescue Officials said.
The first units at the scene of the 9:30 p.m. fire reported light smoke coming from inside Kimble Electronics, 137500 Reptron Blvd., across the street from Racetrack Road.
A second alarm was requested because of the potential fire loss, fire rescue spokesman Ray Yeakley said. The fire was located in the store's receiving area and was extinguished in less than 25 minutes, he said.
The second alarm units were canceled, but some crews remained on scene mopping up, Yeakley said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Hillsborough County Fire Marshal's Office. Damage estimates were not available tonight.
