With his dad, two-time NASCAR champion Ned Jarrett, calling the final lap from the television booth, a then up-and-coming Dale Jarrett beat legendary Dale Earnhardt Sr. to win the 1993 Daytona 500.
Here was Ned's call:
"Come on, Dale. Go, baby, go! ...
"All right, come on! ...

"It's the Dale and Dale Show as we come off of Turn 4! You know who I'm pulling for; it's Dale Jarrett! Bring it to the inside, Dale! He's going to make it! Dale Jarrett is going to win the Daytona 500!"
