ST. PETERSBURG - An 18-year-old St. Petersburg man was arrested Saturday in a fatal shooting that investigators say occurred when he and the man who was killed tried to rob two people outside a bar.
Terrance J. Keys and Jeremiah Williams, 17, tried to rob two people outside Abbey Road Bar, on the north side of Tyrone Gardens shopping plaza, at 9:35 p.m. April 28, St. Petersburg police say.
Williams shot one of the robbery victims in a leg, after which the second robbery victim fatally shot Williams, police say.
Keys told Williams' family members he was with him at the time of his death and told police he and Williams were robbing the two people when Williams was shot, police say.
Keys was charged with second-degree felony murder.
