Regarding "Airport Satisfaction Rises" (Business, May 20):

I had to laugh at the JD Powers report. Philadelphia is first in large airports? Have any of these people actually flown into or out of Philadelphia? It is a matter of "no choice" or "escape," and it isn't unusual to wait for baggage for 45 minutes.

And then Tampa is third for mid-size airports? This is a joke.

A couple of months ago I watched one man unload an entire plane of luggage at first-place Midway and then load my plane with luggage utilizing a broken conveyor that kept stopping on him. Our plane was 45 minutes late taking off. I've waited over an hour for luggage at Midway.
Tampa Airport has been nothing but a refreshing, healthy experience that demonstrates hard work, wisdom and caring. My family raves about Tampa after decades of dealing with Philly and Midway. I'll be suspect of JD Powers reports from now on.
