1999: Appointed politico-military planner, Conventional Arms Control Division, Directorate of Strategic Plans and Policy (J5), Joint Staff, the Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
2000: Promoted to colonel
2001: Appointed commander, 19th Air Refueling Group, Robins Air Force Base, Ga.
2003: Appointed commander, 375th Airlift Wing, Scott Air Force Base, Ill.
2005: Appointed commandant, Squadron Officer College, Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala.
2007: Promoted to brigadier general; working as deputy director of Strategic Plans, Requirements and Programs, Headquarters Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Ill.
