Tasty Morsels On TV This Week
"Top Chef: Chicago," noon to 11 p.m. today, Bravo
Prepare lunch, dinner and some snacks ahead, and get ready for a season-four "Top Chef" marathon. Catch up on episodes one through nine before a new episode ("High Steaks," in which the "chefpetitors" must butcher a big slab of meat) debuts at 10 p.m. (and repeats at 11).
"Boy Meets Grill," 11 a.m. Thursday, Food Network
When does celebrity chef Bobby Flay get a night off? On his birthday, when his wife, actress Stephanie March (Assistant District Attorney Alexandra Cabot on "Law & Order: SVU" - aka the blonde one) cooks him dinner.
"Fast Food Nation," 2:45 a.m. Sunday, HBO
The early hour may be off-putting, but it's probably the best time to watch this movie about contaminated food at a fictitious burger chain. No need to worry about losing one's lunch - or dinner or breakfast. An ensemble cast (Greg Kinnear, Patricia Arquette, Ethan Hawke, Wilbur Valderrama), portrays the many sides of the fast-food industry, from the execs to the factory workers to the teenagers who ask whether you want fries with that.
"Unwrapped: All About Orange," 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, Food Network
Host Marc Summers keeps his eyes peeled for juicy stories on orange-flavored foods, including Orange Push 'Ems and Welch's marmalade.
