Fall From Pickup Bed Kills Man

TOWN 'N COUNTRY - A 27-year-old man died Monday after falling out of the bed of a moving pickup his mother was driving, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.
Terry Fellhauer of Old Town was sitting in a plastic patio chair in the bed of the Chevrolet pickup about 9:30 p.m. Monday, the sheriff's office said. He stood up near westbound Memorial Highway and Kelly Road, toppled out of the truck bed and fell to the pavement.
He died at the scene.
Deputies do not think speed was a factor and did not charge Fellhauer's mother, Marilyn Wadsworth, 46, of Old Town.
The investigation is continuing, the sheriff's office said.
