Go Retro With KitchenAid

Vintage is in, and thanks to KitchenAid's new line of Pear countertop appliances, you can be, too.

KitchenAid, the company that first introduced color into the kitchen back in 1955, has a fun new line of colors.

Pear, a bright and appetizing green that looks as if it came straight out of mom's kitchen, is one of several released in time for summer.

June 14.

Kick The Drab Out Of The Dorm Room

Sami Hayek, the newest designer to lend his talents to Target, recently unveiled a collection just for the dorm room-bound.

The designs are bold, bright and include space-saving innovations, such as the Task Lamp ($29.99), which doubles as a desk organizer. All the products come in minimal packaging, much of which is reusable.

Recessed lighting gets a new flair with Beaux-Artes' Recessed Chandelier.
