Main Break Disrupts Water Service In Casson Heights

NEW PORT RICHEY - Some residents of the Casson Heights area just outside of the city limits are without water this morning due to a water main break, according to New Port Richey police.
Police dispatchers started fielding calls about no water in the area north of the city about 7 this morning.
It's not clear how many homes are without water or how long it should take to repair, but public works crews are on the scene, and police say the water main should be back online later this morning.
The break occurred on Dublin Drive. The area is outside of the police department's jurisdiction, but the city provides water services to the area.
