Couple Slain In Zephyrhills Home Identified

ZEPHYRHILLS - Investigators have identified a man and a woman found dead in their home Thursday night.

Michael Lasich, 38, and Tina Getz, 47, were found dead in the bathroom of their home at 38749 Minnesota Ave. about 9:20 p.m. Thursday, the Pasco County Sheriff's Office said.

Sheriff's spokesman Kevin Doll did not know how the man and woman were related.

Although the sheriff's office initially described the deaths as suspicious, Doll said today that foul play is not suspected and an overdose is a possibility.

The medical examiner will determine a cause of death. Toxicology tests could take up to six weeks, Doll said.
