Home Owned By 50 Cent Destroyed In Suspicious Fire

A multimillion-dollar home at the center of a bitter dispute between 50 Cent and the mother of his son was destroyed by a suspicious fire early Friday.

Six people, including 50's ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins and their 10-year-old son, were taken to a hospital after suffering smoke inhalation and were later released, officials said.

The rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, doesn't live in the home.

"Informed this morning while filming a new motion picture on location in Louisiana, Curtis Jackson expressed deep concern over this fire at his property," a representative said in a statement. "He is extremely thankful that everyone ... escaped the burning house safely."

The home was essentially burned to the ground in the tree-lined neighborhood in Dix Hills, N.Y.

Investigators from the Suffolk County arson squad were called to the scene after Dix Hills Fire Chief Larry Feld deemed the blaze suspicious. The fire was reported at 4:59 a.m. and was extinguished about 45 minutes later, Feld said.

Reports About Brangelina Twins Conflict

Has the Brangelina brood increased by two? There were conflicting reports Friday about the impending birth of Angelina Jolie's twins.

"Entertainment Tonight" reported that the actress had given birth in France. The story, posted on the TV show's Web site, cited a "source close to Jolie." People magazine followed with a story quoting "a rep for the actress" as saying that Jolie "has not given birth."

Representatives for Jolie and her companion, Brad Pitt, did not respond to phone and e-mail requests from The Associated Press.

The couple known as Brangelina have four other children: 6-year-old Maddox, 4-year-old Pax and 3-year-old Zahara, who are adopted, and 2-year-old Shiloh.

Future 'Idol'? Aiken To Be A Father

Clay Aiken is going to be a father, People magazine is reporting.

"The story is true," a publicist for producer David Foster, the pregnant woman's brother, told People on Wednesday.

TMZ.com also reported that Aiken, 29, impregnated Foster's sister, music producer Jaymes Foster. "It is true Clay is the father. She was artificially inseminated by Clay. She's due in August."

Tyler Takes Aching Feet To Rehab

Steven Tyler checked into a rehab facility in search of a "safe environment" to recover from several foot surgeries and physical therapy, the Aerosmith frontman said in a statement Thursday.

Tyler, 60, said the surgeries were to correct foot injuries resulting from his physical performances as the singer for the blues-rock band.

"The doctors told me the pain in my feet could be corrected but it would require a few surgeries over time," Tyler said in the statement. "The 'foot repair' pain was intense, greater than I'd anticipated. The months of rehabilitative care and the painful strain of physical therapy were traumatic. I really needed a safe environment to recuperate where I could shut off my phone and get back on my feet."
