NEW PORT RICHEY - With only three days left before the Nov. 4 general election, Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin is making campaign stops in New Port Richey, Polk City and Ocala today.
The governor of Alaska, the running mate for GOP president nominee John McCain, has drawn large, enthusiastic crowds, as demonstrated by her Oct. 6 visit to Clearwater.
Many polls suggest Florida could be a tossup state in Tuesday's election between McCain and his Democratic rival, Barack Obama. So both sides have been lavishing attention on Florida with almost daily stops to try to sway undecided voters.
Palin's visit, dubbed a Road to Victory Rally by the McCain campaign, comes five days after Joe Biden, the Democratic vice presidential candidate, spoke to about 3,000 supporters Oct. 27 in Sims Park.
Palin will also appear today at Fantasy Of Flight in Polk City at 12:30 p.m.
Republican presidential candidate John McCain will make a last minute stop in Florida on Monday at Raymond James Stadium in tampa. Doors open at 6 .m. Tickets can be printed online at Florida.JohnMcCain.com.
