Early Voting Setting Records In Hillsborough

Ballots had been cast through Thursday in Hillsborough County, a new record for early voting. In the 2004 general election, 86,617 ballots were cast early in Hillsborough.

Absentee ballot requests processed in Hillsborough as of Thursday. "We are still processing requests," said Mia McCormick, spokeswoman for the elections office. In the 2004 election, 77,064 absentee ballots were issued.
