THE DIFFERENCE: Despite being penalized throughout the game (16 penalties for 140 yards), Bishop McLaughlin was able to contain Carrollwood on the ground, allowing no rushing touchdowns, while recording four interceptions.

GAME NOTES: Carrollwood Day junior quarterback Billy Embody passed for three touchdowns, including two to Matt Montheilh. ... Bishop McLaughlin's Giovanni Perrone, Jeff Pope, along with Ryan Beeboe were a tandem of running backs who performed tremendously on the ground, giving Bishop McLaughlin five rushing touchdowns. .... Pope added two rushing touchdowns to his resume and Perrone and Beeboe each added an interception playing both sides of the ball. Perrone returned an interception 11 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter. ... Quarterback Devin Towson added a 5-yard touchdown run in the second quarter for Bishop McLaughlin.
