THE DIFFERENCE: Leto (2-7) went into halftime with a 14-0 lead over King (3-5), but the Lions relied on seniors Rodney Pugh, Donovan Celerin and Keith Graham to score 28 consecutive second-half points to claim the victory on Senior Night at King.
GAME NOTES: The Falcons scored on their second possession of the game when quarterback Jeremy Deering found Antwoun Howard for a 38-yard touchdown. The pair hooked up again on the Falcons' next possession for a 66-yard score. ... Leto took the second-half kickoff and drove to the King 22-yard line but they fumbled. Pugh later scored to cut the lead to 14-7. ... After a Falcons punt, the Lions finished a 62-yard drive when Celerin ran in from 12 yards out. ... Quarterback Keith Graham scored King's go-ahead score on fourth-and-goal from the 1-yard line.
STAT OF THE GAME: Pugh (116) and Celerin (93) combined for 209 rushing yards for the Lions.
