KISSIMMEE - Authorities say they have arrested a woman who fled a hit-and-run almost two years ago where two children were killed.
Florida Highway Patrol spokeswoman Sgt. Kim Miller says an accomplice suspected of helping 27-year-old Yessenia Carrales Villalobos escape also was arrested late Friday in Osceola County.
Authorities say Villalobos is a Nicaraguan citizen living in Hillsborough County on a visa. She was arrested on two counts of leaving the scene of a crash involving a death.
Authorities say her bail was set at $275,000.
FHP says she has no driver's license.
