TAMPA - Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden and his wife Jill are set to visit Florida to talk at rallies throughout the state.
They will be holding rallies Tallahassee, Gainesville and Daytona Beach on Sunday.
On Saturday Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin assured elderly voters that John McCain would protect Social Security and Medicare benefits.
Palin said that McCain is the only presidential candidate who can keep taxes low, fix the broken economy, balance the federal budget in his first term and win the war in Iraq. His opponent, Barack Obama, is committed to raising taxes and growing government, she said, and called Obama's economic plan "phony."
