"Give Us A Sign: No God."
On Oct. 23, this headed an article about atheists in England planning signs on busses stating, "There's probably no God. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life."
What is their problem? Why don't they just enjoy life? Why stir up trouble?
It is because they want to be loved, too! Notice the word "probably." They don't want to believe there is no God. That is because there is a God! A God of love. A God who wants all people to love God and each other. A God who lets mankind be free to choose God or no God.
You can't have it both ways. Many people want it to be both ways. They satisfy desire first, then thank God for it afterward. It doesn't work that way. Not for long.
I do not presume to speak for God. The first of The Ten Commandments says you are to love God best. Deuteronomy, Chapter 5, Verse 7 says: "You shall have no other gods before me." (Or besides.)
Are our people, in high places and low, listening?
