Three-Vehicle Crash In Pasco Injures Woman

PASCO COUNTY - A three-vehicle crash snarled traffic on State Road 52 for an hour this afternoon.

State police say Amber Helmick, 19, of Hudson, was flown to Bayfront Medical Center, where she remains in stable condition, according to a hospital spokesperson.

Police said Helmick's car was turning left from Shadow Ridge Boulevard onto S.R. 52 at about 1:46 p.m. when it was hit by a pickup driven by Danny Miller, 38, of Hudson.

Miller was heading west. The impact pushed his truck into the path of a second pickup, heading east, driven by Paul Concilio, 38, of New Port Richey.

Neither Miller nor Concilio reported any injuries. Helmick was charged with violation of a right-of-way at a stop sign.
