While a man served as her lookout, a woman jumped over the counter at a Walgreens on Armenia Avenue and grabbed a bin of prepared prescriptions Oct. 27, Tampa police say.
The theft occurred at 10:50 p.m. at the store on 4319 N. Armenia Ave. while the pharmacist was in the back filling orders.
The man, who was the lookout, gave the woman a jacket to cover the bin, and they walked out of the store, police say. The pharmacist saw the bin was missing, reviewed the in-store surveillance video and discovered a theft had taken place.
The pharmacist saw the male accomplice loitering in the store earlier that day, officers say.
The woman is white, age 18 to 26 and has blonde hair. She is 5-foot-4, weighs 140 pounds and wore a black jacket, red sweatpants and white sneakers in the store.
The man is white, age 20 to 25 and has brown hair and a goatee. He is 5-foot-10, weighs 190 pounds and wore a black shirt with white writing, jeans and black sneakers in the store.
