TAMPA - Nearly a week after inmate Raymond Marston escaped from jail, two homeless brothers spotted him in Town 'N Country, near a bridge where authorities say Marston beat and raped a girl in May.
Jack Jackson, 40, used his brother's cell phone after he saw Marston riding a bicycle near Sheldon Road on Thursday. Marston, 50, had escaped from Falkenburg Road Jail about 9 p.m. Oct. 26.
"I called 911 and told them to surround this place," said Jackson, who lives under a bridge near Mohr Road with his brother, Randall Jackson.
On the 911 recording, Jack Jackson told the dispatcher, "He's sitting down on a bike talking to one of my friends. ... I don't want him to see that I'm on a telephone. ... He's right here man, I got him."
