8:40 a.m.: Would-be voter Robert Clemente says he is not impressed by assurances that there will not be any problems at the Precinct 43 polling location in Holiday.
"I arrived at 7:50 a.m. and about 15 people were standing outside on the sidewalk," says Clemente. "Someone came up to me and said the polling place is closed, you can't vote now. I asked why. He said that they got the wrong component for the machine. I asked when I could vote. He said come back in about 20 minutes."
Clemente says he tried calling the office of the Pasco County Supervisor of Elections, but could not get an answer.
Efforts to reach that office were not immediately successful.
