9:58 a.m.: Poll workers and voters at Flora Street and Florida Avenue in Tampa are puzzled by the black helicopter hovering about 50 yards overhead.
The unmarked Bell helicopter, with red stripes, is just hanging over the polling place. Teachers at the nearby Tampa Baptist Church on Sligh Avenue seemed upset by the copter.
But no conspiracy is afoot.
The helicopter is not from the United Nations or some foreign power.
Turns out it is just another Tampa Electric Co. crew conducting a routine check of power lines.
