12:55 p.m.: After visiting three polling places in the Forest Hills area, it appears polls are quiet in the lunch hour. Only a handful of people are trickling in at a time. Forest Hills resident and voter Claire Santos said she suspects the polls will pick up later in the day.
"A lot of people who live around her are working-class people who will probably wait until after they get off to go to the polls," she said. "I do think people will turn out. This is historic election."
