8:15 p.m.: A top Pinellas County Republican says Governor Charlie Crist has changed plans and is not going to show up at the Hilton Carillon Park hotel tonight for the Pinellas County Republican Victory Party.

Tony DiMatteo, Pinellas County Republican chairman, says Crist was planning to come to the party at the Hilton Carillon Park but was called back to Tallahassee. DiMatteo says Crist was called back for some sort of "legal issues" – he doesn't know what for specifically.

DiMatteo says he does not know whether Crist plans on returning to St. Petersburg tonight.
