2:30 p.m.: A first-time voter, Jessica Metz of Dunedin came to the Dunedin Community Center prepared to wait a while before casting her ballot.
"My aunt voted early [during the early voting period] and she had to wait an hour-and-a-half," said Metz, 20.
She was a little surprised to find no lines when she got to the polls about 2:15 p.m. "I kind of expected it to be busier," she said.
She had thought about voting early, as her aunt did, but this being her first time, she wanted to vote on Election Day.
"It's like a tradition," she said.
The experience went well. "Everyone was really, really nice," she said.
So, how did she like her first election?
"I'll tell you tomorrow," she said.
