9:46 a.m. Hillsborough Supervisor of Elections Buddy Johnson showed up at the Falkenburg Road headquarters at 8:53.
As he circled around the county's various polling places, a clerk at one precinct has been replaced because he mistakenly was not passing out the second page of the ballot, Johnson said.
"We took care of that," Johnson said.
He said most problems with scanning systems have more to do with the operators than the equipment, and he's heard only a few problems with that. The flow at polling places has been smooth, Johnson said, although there's no way to tell how big the turnout has been.
